<p><strong>Networks and Web Technologies</strong> is designed to provide learners with a comprehensive understanding of the principles that enable modern digital communication and web-based services. As today's information systems increasingly rely on interconnected devices and Internet technologies, mastering networking fundamentals and web technologies has become an essential skill for every computer science student.</p>

 

<p>This course explores the architecture and operation of computer networks, beginning with the fundamental concepts of data communication, network classifications, transmission media, network topologies, and networking devices. Students will examine the layered approach adopted by the <strong>OSI</strong> and <strong>TCP/IP</strong> reference models and understand how data is transmitted efficiently across local and global networks.</p>

 

<p>The course then introduces the technologies that power the World Wide Web. Learners will discover how web browsers and web servers communicate, the role of HTTP and HTTPS protocols, domain names, URLs, DNS resolution, and the client–server architecture that underpins modern web applications. Through practical examples, students will gain insight into the technologies that support today's websites and online services.</p>

 

<p>Throughout the course, theoretical concepts are reinforced with illustrations, demonstrations, and practical activities that encourage learners to connect networking concepts with real-world Internet applications.
